This was the first time in the 40 year OFSAA history that one school has won all three medals in a single event. Won the "Silver Medal" in the Midget Boys 1500m at OFSAA Track and Field 2005 finishing a fraction of a second behind the winner. Kyle's TISS Midget Boys Cross Country Team was selected as the area's "TEAM OF THE YEAR" at the annual Sportsman's award. This was a major accomplishment considering the fact that this community award usually goes to high profile groups like Hockey, Baseball or Rowing. OTHER ACCOMPLISHMENTS: 8 Times OFSAA Medalist 12 Times EOSSAA Medalist Holds Two OTFA 3000m Records as well as EOSSAA and EAST REGIONALS Has won 6 OFSAA Medals in first two years of High School Won "Silver Medal" at OFSAA Cross Country 2004 while leading his team to an UNDEFEATED season and the over all "OFSAA Provincial Championships" Was UNDEFEATED himself until being edged out at the finish of the 2004 season's final race. FIRST EVER Freshman (Grade 9) at TISS to run Varsity in the US Broke Midget Boys Under 15 Provincial record in the 3000m by 4 sec. (9:10) and as a current 15 year old his PB is now 9:05 Won "GOLD" at the prestigues 2004 Hershey North America Track and and Field Championships in Hershey Pennsylvania. Kyle became the "North America Champion" in the boys 13 & 14 1600m race against a field in which he ran against competitors from seven different States in the US. Broke several Brockville and area track records in grade 8 (June, 2004) Broke PROVINCIAL indoor 3000m Track Record for Bantam (under 14) in November, 2003 ATHLETIC AWARDS: Midget Boys "MVP" Track 2005 "Athlete of the Year" 2004 "MVP Track" 2004 "MVP XC" 2004 Grade 8 Phys-Ed award 2004 Kyle's current goal for the summer of 2008 is to get his 1500m time down below 3:48 Wants to do well at the University level and go as far as possible in Track/Cross
